Morby is a concept artist with an extensive body of work spanning digital media; comics, graphic novels, and video games.
Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, his work is deeply influenced by the Yoruba belief system, history and broadly, African lores & traditions.
His art also draws inspiration from the Japanese anime subculture.
In 2021, he was nominated for the Ringo Awards in the category of Best Colorist.
That same year, a series of artworks he created played an integral role in securing a 10-book deal between Youneek Studios and Dark Horse Entertainment.
One of the graphic novels from this collaboration, Iyanu: Child of Wonder Vol. 2, for which he served as color artist won the award for Best Graphic Novel at the prestigious 2022 Nommo Awards.
